Lot 6A: Tropic Coffee, Lot 3 Gisanga Anaerobic
Originating from the Southern Province of Rwanda, the coffee is
grown in a rich mulch of rice straw and banana leafs. The coffee is
made sure to be grown on clay sandy soil in perfect conditions with
the right amount of sun, which helps to provide the perfect coffee.
The coffee trees are planted in well spaced rows allowing light
penetration and air movement to help plants grow well.
Tropic coffee is a family owned business that operates in 3
different regions in Rwanda each with different climates, soil and
rainfall. The coffee farmers are trained in agricultural practices
from seeding to planting and harvesting. Tropic coffee practises
sustainable farming practises.
