Grown in the volcanic soils in the western province in Rwanda.
The volcanic soil’s clean acidity gives the coffee a full body of
flavour and a chocolate fruitful aroma.
Caferwa is a coffee exporting company which started in 1995
with an aim of exporting coffee to different parts of the world. In
1998, Caferwa stopped its operations due to the coffee crisis all
over the world until 2003 when it resumed but with different
objectives of improving the quality of coffee.
Caferwa Sarl plans to build dispensaries to secure the health
of the citizens in different regions, providing coffee growing
farmers and their communities with long term support, giving them
access to education and providing them with schools and educational
facilities.

A brief Story:
Nkora Coffee Washing station is one of the biggest CWS in Rwanda with a capacity of producing 500MT of parchment coffee per annual season. It is located in Western Province.
This coffee grows at an altitude of 1,490m on an average Rainfall in that area of 1,250mm per annum. Nkora CWS specializes in processing of specialty coffee while building long-term relationship with farmers who supplies cherries, the washing station uses wet processing method and natural sun drying system in coffee processing.
Nkora CWS has built a nursery school in 2013 to facilitate farmer’s kids who supply coffee to the washing station, Nkora CWS has also been USA Fairtrade certified with FLO ID 41650. Nkora started producing Natural coffee since 2018.
